Fin McCool Surf School based in Rossnowlagh, Co.Donegal on the north-west coast of Ireland, provides an enjoyable and safe introduction to the ever growing exhilarating sport of Surfing.
Rossnowlagh beach caters for all surfers, from first time beginners to intermediate experienced surfers. From gentle crumbling waves with occassional punchy beach break waves, Rossnowlagh is the perfect beach to start you off surfing.
Neil Britton, head surf instructor and owner of Fin McCool's, comes from a family of surfing pioneers in Ireland. His grandmother, Mrs B bought a surfboard from some travelling surfers in the 1960's as a facility for the guests in her hotel, unaware that surfing would become an obsession for her sons and grandchildren. As with many of the Britton family, Neil has surfed on the Irish team and has judged surf contests internationally.
Fin McCools Surf School provides lessons for all standards of surfers and runs daily Kids Surf Camps during the summer months. The surf school is fully approved and insured by the Irish Surfing Association and the shop is stocked with most leading brands and items.
