This wiki aims to be the most comprehensive resource and metasite relating to the historical, cultural and natural heritage of the county.
It has been established as a public forum and "web-space" for anyone who wishes to contribute material of interest. There are many Co. Donegal websites (some of them are very good indeed, and are linked in to this site!), but this wiki is different. It is an open source project (only loosely edited and regulated) that will facilitate the publication of a wide variety of material that would not otherwise see the light of day. Every house in the county has a "glory box", photograph album or collection of "stuff" from previous generations.

The name of our school is Killian N.S. 'Killian' comes from the Irish word 'Cillín' which means a small graveyard. Unbaptised children were buried in a field behind the school long ago. The townland is called 'Cillín'.It is a two teacher school with, 20 pupils in Mrs. CD's room (her full name is Mrs. Charlette Campell Doherty but that's too long to say) and 20 in Mr. O' Donnell's room (he is the Principal). The school is in a country area in the Parish of Inver, south Co. Dongal, Republic of Ireland.
