The school prides itself in putting great emphasis on all types of culture but in particular on Irish culture. We have a lively town band organised by the parents.
In our school there is a strong tradition of drama and our annual Christmas concert features all the children in the school. Each week classes have tin whistle classes, traditional singing and ceili dancing classes.
Gaelic football and soccer are the main sports played in our school. We have a fine playing field and spacious play areas suitable for all types of sport. Our Special Classes go swimming to the local pool once a week.
There are 15 computers available for the children to use in school. Each pupil gets a chance to use computers on a regular basis as there is a computer in every classroom.
