This wiki aims to be the most comprehensive resource and metasite relating to the historical, cultural and natural heritage of the county. It has been established as a public forum and "web-space" for anyone who wishes to contribute material of interest. There are many Co. Donegal websites (some of them are very good indeed, and are linked in to this site!), but this wiki is different. It is an open source project (only loosely edited and regulated) that will facilitate the publication of a wide variety of material that would not otherwise see the light of day. Every house in the county has a "glory box", photograph album or collection of "stuff" from previous generations.

Donegal County Council’s Public Art Programme has been active since 1990 and to date over forty commissions have been awarded and delivered in the capital construction of Roads, Housing, Water, Environment & Emergency Services, Libraries and Fire stations.
